After recently being diagnosed with breast cancer, Tracy has been on a mission to learn all she can about the foods we eat and how they effect us. Sugar is one of the worst things in our diets, in other words, it’s like the devil in our bodies!

    Join watercolor artist, Margi Hafer, and enjoy the the process of “Ala prima” watercolor painting to create a 
    “Winter Pine in the Snow” landscape. You may want to add a snowman, bird or small animal to the scene, 
    or just enjoy the trees and shadows in the snow. All painting materials, including a mat for your finished painting 
    are supplied. Bring a friend and your favorite beverage. Light refreshments will be served. Register by phone (815) 464-2668 or when you visit Evilena’s Red Dresser. A sample painting will be on display there. Tuesday, November 8th, 6:30-9:30p.m. The cost for this class is $60.

    Everyone loves a good makeover story, let’s see what your’s will be! Bring a door or drawer to a piece you’d like to redo and we’ll teach you how. If you don’t have anything in mind, we’ll have some small options for purchase, as well as the regular ongoing merchandise! The class includes the instruction, a small container of Farmhouse paint in a color of your choice, and the full brush set. Cost is $49.
