We accept consignments everyday Monday through Saturday during business hours without an appointment for home decor, and women’s apparel and accessories. We do need to pre-approve furniture from a photo and set up a time to have that brought in. On rare occasion, we have days where we do not take in consignments due to sales, or an abundance of merchandise. We will post this on FB, on our website, and an email will be sent to notify our regular customers in advance. Feel free to call the store to double check before you come in if not yet on our email list.
- Submit a Furniture Request:
Online – Fill out our online Consignment Request Form and describe the furniture items that you would like to sell. Please include an accurate description along with notes on the condition of each item. Attach at least one photograph per item listed, multiple views preferred. We do not appraise furniture from a photo. We give prices once we see it in person and know more about the piece.
Email – Requests emailed to photos@firstname.lastname@example.org also be accepted. If necessary, you may bring photos into the store on a digital camera or as hard copies. Please call in advance to ensure that the proper personnel are available to review the request.
Please allow up to 5 days for us to review and respond to your consignment request. If your request is urgent, feel free to contact our store at 815-464-2668 to expedite your request.
We will review your request and photos to determine if we have a demand for those items from our customer base, in addition to when floor space will be available to accommodate your furniture.
Please note that our customer’s buying patterns dictate what we bring into the store on consignment.
- Approval and Scheduling
Once your furniture is approved for consignment, we will provide you with a scheduled delivery date or delivery window.
Note that all furniture must have a preset appointment before being delivered to our store. If furniture is delivered without an appointment or pre-approval, it is subject to space availability and inspection.
4. You approved my furniture, how do I get it to your store?
We highly recommend that you use a professional mover to safely deliver your furniture and set up your items on our sales floor.
However, if you prefer to bring in the items yourself, the set up, assembly and placement of the furniture on the sales floor is your responsibility as the consignor. Remember to bring them in clean and ready to go on the showroom floor!
Due to insurance restrictions, we are unable to assist in unloading items from the car or moving them into the store. We always recommend bringing adequate help!

Evilena’s Red Dresser is open Monday thru Friday from 10:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m. with extended hours on Thursdays until 8 pm. We are open Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday.
