Ladies Day 2023 Celebration!
April is always a very special month at Evilena’s Red Dresser!
For many years, we have set aside a Saturday to celebrate the April birthday of Evilena Molthan, our namesake, and the mother of our owner, Jan Sabey. Evilena enjoyed quite a few festive birthday celebrations in the store! She loved meeting the many customers who would stop in on this special day, and she enjoyed the live music, and the birthday treats - and it was always such a wonderful time that made Evilena feel so very special and loved!

Evilena enjoyed these times so much, and she and Jan both felt like every woman deserves to be made to feel so special. Jan has continued this April celebration tradition with Ladies Day - a time to get together and celebrate ALL women!
This year, we will host our special Ladies Day on
Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10 am - 4 pm.
Here are a few of the special things we have planned for you!
We will have extra special sweets and treats
from a new local baker, Sweet Nouveau!
Mmmmmm!!!!!
We will have live harp music by musician, Trish Boril from 11 am until noon.
We will have a lovely photo booth where you can have photos taken with your friends and loved ones, and we will email the photos directly to you to use as you please.
These photos would make wonderful Mother’s Day gifts! We will also have fresh plants and flowers on hand, and giveaways, as well as other surprises in the store.

It was such an enjoyable day!
We would especially like to honor any ladies who are 90 years old and above. Women who have lived with this many years of life tucked away inside of them are a treasure trove of valuable inspiration to all of us! We will have a special gift for each lady 90 and up, and we would love to take a moment and enjoy a brief interview with them - just an informal chat - maybe a few questions about meaningful life lessons, and get to know them and their family, and their thoughts on what matters the most to them. If you will be bringing a guest who is over 90, please call the store (815) 464-2668 and let us know who you are bringing so that we can prepare a personalized gift just for them!
In memory of Jan’s mom - the original “Evilena” - this event is a highlight at Evilena’s Red Dresser and we would LOVE to have you join us for this very special day! It is a day when we get to honor our customers and celebrate the many beautiful women who shop and consign at Evilena’s Red Dresser! We hope you know how grateful we are for each and every one of you! We appreciate your support and your loyalty, and the way you share our enthusiasm for our mission of serving each other and serving our community.
